Judy has been Carrol & Associates’ office manager for almost 30 years. A previous new business supervisor for United Olympic Life, she is responsible for the processing of new business and technology.
After a career in health care accounting, Steve worked for 15 years as a personal producer in the life and health industry. He became a brokerage supervisor 14 years ago and specializes in life, disability income and long term care insurance. He graduated from Hofstra University.
Tim joined Safeco/Symetra Life Insurance Company in 1995 and held sales and sales leadership roles at that company. Throughout his 24 years in the industry, Tim has worked with independent agents to sell individual life and disability insurance, retirement plans and worksite products. A graduate of the University of Washington, Tim is a past President of the Seattle chapter of the Society of Financial Services Professionals. He has spoken at industry events and has been a frequent contributor to industry publications. Tim joined Carrol & Associates in 2014.
Since his childhood days of watching his grandfather check his stocks in the newspapers, Jon has always had a passion for financial services. After graduating from Washington State University, Jon worked in the back office of a bank and as a record keeper for retirement plans. As a wholesaler at Symetra Life, Jon had a proven track record of creating sales programs within institutions and agencies using annuities and life insurance. Jon enjoys spending time with his wife and dog in the outdoors of the great Pacific Northwest.
Loreen worked with business insurance clients for many years in Symetra Life's Advanced Markets department. Before that, she was with a national consulting company providing nonqualified deferred compensation plans. She joined Carrol & Associates in 2013. A graduate of the University of North Dakota, she holds graduate degrees from Columbia University. She has served on the board of the Seattle chapter of the Society of Financial Services Professionals. She is active in her community, serving on the Parks Commission and Friends of the Library.
Cliff joined the life insurance industry as marketing representative for Aetna and then CIGNA. For many years, he was a regional sales manager for The Hartford. In 1991, he joined Carrol & Associates, where he brokers annuities, long term care, life, and estate planning sales. He graduated from Washington State University.
Paul graduated from the University of Washington with a major in Risk and Insurance. He completed his M.S. In 1980, he founded Carrol & Associates, Inc. after a career in management with a major insurance company.
Paul has served on multiple agent advisory councils to national and international life insurance companies, including agent liaison representation to their board of directors. He served as president of an agent-owned reinsurance company for several years. He is past president of the Seattle CLU chapter, now the Society of Financial Service Professionals, and is currently a member of their board of directors.
Rob held senior sales roles at Safeco Insurance where he was responsible for the profitable growth in commercial and personal lines. At Symetra Life, he played an instrumental role in developing and growing Symetra’s IMO partnerships. Rob joined Carrol & Associates in 2013. He is developing online insurance sales programs with four of our top carriers. A graduate of the University of Washington, Rob believes, “Teamwork is the key to success in any sales organization. I like to foster a sense of team in all of my business interactions.”
Pete manages our Spokane office. With 42 years in the industry, he has been an advisor to several major insurers and been involved in product innovation and agent education. Also, he has written many industry articles. Before joining Carrol & Associates, he was a co-founder of a leading life insurance brokerage agency in southern California. Pete specializes in impaired risk underwriting. He attended Occidental College, the University of California at Long Beach, and the Liberal Institute of Natural Science and Technology.
